Otter
Otter Info:

The river otter is the largest member of the family of mink, weasels, skunks and badger. Adult animals are three to four feet long, including the 12- to 18-inch tail, and generally weigh 15 to 25 pounds. Otters are usually found in or near water and are well adapted for aquatic life. Their main food source is fish and crawfish, but will eat insects, mammals and birds along with frogs when needed. River otters reach sexual maturity when they are two years or older. They breed in March-April and birth in late winter/early spring, about a year later. Litter size varies from one to six, but litters of two or three are most common.

Damage/Nuisance Concerns:

The biggest problem I have seen is when they start eating the expensive fish in a decorative pond. There is also the possibility of carrying the rabies virus.

Damage Control & Solutions:

The best method to remove otters from your property is to live trap them with a trap.
