Feral Cats
Feral Cat Info:
Feral cats are non-domesticated cats living in the wild. They were born in the wild. They are truly wild animals! There are over 60 million cats living in our households, and in excess of100 million feral cats! Cats are excellent hunters, and are able to live in the wild just fine.

Damage/Nuisance Concerns:
These cats live under decks or porches and will are make noise, fighting, or stealing pet food left outside. They feed off the bird population in the area and anything they can catch and eat. They may even eat the expensive fish you have in a pond. I had a litter crawl under the hood of my car when it got cold. Without knowing they were there I started the car. The cost to have the car towed and fan belts replaced was unbelievable. These cats will spray to mark their territory and of course scratch and use your yard and garden as a potty. They will even get into the trash looking for food. What a mess you will have to clean up in the morning.

Feral cats are a source of fatal and non-fatal diseases transmittable to humans and domestic cats, including rabies, plague, ringworm, toxoplasmosis, cat scratch fever, allergies, feline leukemia, feline distemper and secondary bacterial infections.
